My Story

Hi, I’m Mel.

In real life, I’m a mum of eight, powered by coffee, and objectively cooler in text.

But that’s not where this story starts.

It started with a quiet knowing that reality wasn’t quite as fixed as I’d been taught.

Growing up, intuition wasn’t something I learned. It was simply there. A thread running beneath everyday life. Patterns I couldn’t ignore. Moments that felt familiar before they happened. Questions that refused to stay unanswered.

Over time, I stopped trying to explain those experiences away.

Instead, I started paying attention.

Because some stories aren’t written.

They’re remembered.

The Number 8.

The number 8 has always known how to find me.

In the shape of my life.
In the cycles I’ve lived through.
In the quiet pattern beneath it all.

Eight births. Eight children. An 8 Life Path.

Long before I understood its significance, it kept appearing. Again and again. As though something was trying to get my attention.

Eventually, I stopped dismissing it.

Greightful became the place where I stopped ignoring the pattern and started weaving it into something meaningful.

A remembering more than a brand.

A space built around gratitude, transformation, and return.

How it became stories

I never intended to build a business around any of this.

I certainly didn’t set out to start a publishing house.

I just started by writing.

Because writing has a way of revealing what the mind tries to organize into silence.

The questions I carried became stories.

The stories became books.

And the books became a doorway into a much larger conversation.

A conversation about identity.
Transformation.
Memory.
The unseen threads that connect us to one another.

And perhaps most importantly:

What exists just beyond what we’re told is real?

Too literary for genre.

Too genre for literary.

So I built the shelf.
